BiCamp will close at midday (12:00) on Sunday 31st May 2026, all attendees must be off site by this time.
It is completely okay to arrive at any time after 12 midday on Thursday, and leave earlier than the Sunday afternoon if you have a Full Camp ticket.
Please let us know if you will be arriving late - for example on Friday or Saturday, so we can check you in, and catch you up with any important information.
We have ticket options available depending on how long you want to stay at camp.
Full Camp tickets grant you entry from Thursday through Sunday, and day tickets grant you entry to either only Friday or Saturday during the day.
Day tickets allow entry from 8am on Friday or Saturday and you must be off site by 10pm the day you arrive. If you need alternative days (multiple days, no overnights, only 1 overnight for example - please purchase the ticket at a cost which feels right for you and write in the notes what your plans are.)
You are welcome to drive directly to the centre, there is parking on site.
Some people will travel by train. Disability assistance is easily organised using the Passenger Assistance app. https://passengerassistance.com/ The National Rail app is useful for planning journeys and getting updates on your planned routes. https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
Most rail journeys will involve a change of train and railway station in central Birmingham.
BHM - Birmingham New Street is the main station where trains from around the country arrive. It is a large station with several exits, shops, cafes and restaurants on the concourse, and many more in the surrounding Grand Central and nearby BULLRING. There is step-free access from all platforms and the disability access crew are busy but friendly.
It takes about 15-20 minutes for an average walker to get from BHM platform to Birmingham Moor Street (BMO) or Birmingham Snow Hill (BSW). These stations will take you to Kidderminster - the station closest to our venue. BMO has step-free access even if the lifts are out of order. It is a small and easily negotiated station.
You may be able to coordinate your travel plans with another attendee. Using the attendee Discord is a good way to do this. BiCampCIC is not responsible for any private arrangements you make.
If you have additional needs, concerns or queries, please email BiCampUK@gmail.com and one of our team will be in touch.
Kidderminster is the nearest station. It has step-free access.

BiCamp is like a cross between a mini festival, a long weekend retreat, and a grass-roots community gathering. Expect campers by the dozen rather than ravers by the thousand. Expect silly, crafty, and cuddly, rather than famous and pretentious. Ultimately though, camp will be like whatever we all make it.
Bicamp runs activities suitable for all ages including morning yoga, nature walks, board games, crafting, as well as adult-only activities including cuddle piles and naked lunch. We put on evening activities, culminating in a themed costume party on Saturday night.
Attendees are a big mix of ages and genders. Many folks come from around Birmingham, but we have campers from all over the UK and beyond. Some come alone, with groups of friends, or their families. If you are bisexual, pansexual, queer, biromantic, or feel that being among bi+ people would be good for you, then BiCamp welcomes you. We do not gatekeep identities, or who is welcome. You are also welcome to bring partners, friends, family, including children, regardless of their identity. As long as you are bi+ positive, you are welcome.
In order to keep camp running, we ask all attendees to volunteer at least an hour of their time, in a way that is accessible for them.
All of us make camp happen, and everyone can make valuable contributions. Let us know what you can help with (both in terms of your physical needs, and your availability). We need volunteers to help greet campers, run sessions, carry equipment, cook meals, and much more.
There are many helpful camping packing lists online. This is also a great way to use our Discord server - ask your fellow campers for advice!
Bicamp is semi-catered. Breakfast and dinner are provided. We cater for a wide variety of dietary requirements. Breakfast will typically include cereal, toast and spreads, and fruit. Dinners include curries, pasta, jacket potatoes and fillings.
Campers should bring supplies for lunch. There are fully equipped kitchens available for 24hrs, with stoves, pots, sinks, boiling water, microwaves etc so you can prepare/heat up any food you have with you.
The main options are camping, campervan, and rooms. There are several fields for you to camp in (and you can borrow a tent from us if you don’t have one). You may bring a campervan and park up on site. Those who need an actual bedroom can use one of the rooms on site.
Yes absolutely!
However, campervans and caravans will need to be park in the carpark, as no vehicle is allowed to park on the grass.
Electric sockets are available in the rooms on site. There are also power sockets in all communal buildings which are free to use for campers. There are no electricity hook ups provided for tents and campervans.
There is some WiFi connection, but it might not reach all areas reliably. If needed, we will prioritise those who need access. Please get in touch if this is the case for you.
Phone network works well in the areas in and around the main building and outdoor communal areas.
There will be a central, accessible location at which to smoke. It is essential that no butts are dropped or left behind.
Consuming alcohol is allowed but moderation is essential. We cannot make good choices if we drink heavily, and making good choices is vital to build community. It is also essential that no bottles, cans, or other drinking paraphernalia are dropped or left behind.
If any of this is a problem for you, speak to a member of the welfare team.
Keep in mind that BiCamp is not a place to party wildly or drink to excess. The cosy atmosphere depends on everyone being responsible for their behaviour and able to make informed choices.
Torn your tent? Stubbed your toe? Feeling low? Had an argument with a fellow camper and need support? BiCamp have designated people on call at all times to handle problems. If you have a problem, tell one of the folks with a walkie talkie and we will come and support you.
If the problem is a safeguarding problem, we have a policy in place, which you can read here and which has the details of the designated safeguarding lead(s).
You can also reach out by emailing bicampconcerns@gmail.com.
Bicamp is run by the community, for the community.
For each event a committee forms, overseen by the directors of the BiCamp UK CIC. The committee is made of people who had such a good time at camp, they joined the team to keep BiCamp happening. We welcome new members of the committee every year, so if you would like to get involved for next year, get in touch!
This year we have two camp co-leads and several committee members who support with different areas.
You will meet us all on the first day of camp!
